Below is a listing of resources available in the Dothan area that may useful in this time of precaution and social distancing. We will work to keep this list current and up to date, and if there is a service you’d like to see added to this list, please feel free to submit your suggestion via email.

Grocery and Pharmacy Solutions

Walmart Grocery: Order online. Shop anytime, anywhere. Choose a convenient pickup time and location and Walmart does the shopping for you. Associates pick the freshest items or your money back, and they’ll even load your car in minutes. Pick up is free with no markups on your items. Get the same, every day low prices found in stores.

Walgreens: Walgreens is waiving delivery fees for all eligible prescriptions during this evolving situation.

CVS: Get FREE delivery on Rx & other essentials (conditions apply).

Wiregrass Area Food Bank: The Brown Bag Program of the Wiregrass is a supplemental grocery program for eligible individuals age 60 and older who live in Houston, Henry, Dale, Coffee, Geneva, and Barbour counties.

DCS Curbside Meal Distribution: Dothan City Schools Child Nutrition Program (CNP) will provide lunch and snack meals during the COVID-19 school closures via the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be served via a curbside method at six locations throughout the district beginning Wednesday, March 18. Meal pick-up will take place between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Free Meals and Snacks: The City of Dothan along with Dothan Leisure Services will also be providing Free Meals and snacks during the Covid-19 school closure. Meals and snacks can be picked up at Andrew Belle Center, Wiregrass Park, Walton Park, and Westgate Park beginning Tuesday, March 17. Meals and snacks will be served from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm.

Wiregrass Church is partnering with Church at the Crossing, Parks Chapel AME Church, the Dothan Housing Authority, and District 2 Commissioner Janasky Fleming to provide food distribution Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings for those in the District 2 community.
