James led the first Christian church for 20 years. His humble but strong leadership guided these Messianic Jews through the early stages of what being a Christ follower really was. Throughout his teachings, he continually challenged them on how to live a Christ-like life. James’ heart for those he shepherded was for them to be free from the 613 laws and to learn how to live out the grace of God inside them all. In this series, we will explore several of the same challenges James presented to the 1st Christian church and see how they can help us take steps to grow in our relationship with Jesus.
