Summer FOR Dothan Project

In July, the city of Dothan is hosting the 7/8 year old baseball World Series at James Oates Ballpark. Over 350 players and coaches from 22 different states along with their families will be staying a few days in our city and during their stay, they are required to attend a church service. The board has asked Wiregrass Church to host this service on July 31st, as well as provide volunteers for the tournament July 28th-August 1st.

We know that being FOR our community is not simply providing the bare minimum, but it is going above and beyond what is needed. So we will need lots of volunteers to help pull off the service tailored especially for them as well as enough volunteers to help at the tournament. If you would be willing to volunteer, fill out the form below.

We are also planning to give each player and coach a bag of goodies as they leave the service. Because of this, for the summer we are launching the Summer FOR Dothan Project. All the FOR cards on the FOR wall will have different items to bring in to help pack those bags. Please consider taking a card and making a difference! Check out the pictures of the items you can bring in below.
